A new production of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci by Francesco Micheli, it will be on stage today, July 9, and July 12, 2025.

The cast of Cavalleria features Anna Pirozzi as Santuzza, Jonathan Tetelman as Turiddu, Rosalind Plowright as Lucia, Wolfgang Koch as Alfio, Rihab Chaieb as Lola, conducted by Daniele Callegari.

A LAST-MINUTE JUMP-IN

Anna Pirozzi returns to Munich on this occasion with a last-minute jump-in. She debuted at the Staatsoper in 2016 singing Amelia in “Un ballo in maschera” and performed  last time in 2021 singing the title role of “Turandot”.
