After the triumph at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Abigaille (Nabucco) with Riccardo Muti, the Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi is treading the most prestigious Italian and international stages. Some of his important recent engagements include Un Ballo in maschera in Madrid, Il Pirata by Vincenzo Bellini and I due Foscari by Giuseppe Verdi at the Opera Montecarlo, Aida in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples and Manon Lescaut at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. In 2016 Anna Pirozzi made her debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Lucrezia Contarini in I due Foscari), at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich (Amelia in Un ballo in maschera), at the Royal Opera House in London (Leonora in Il trovatore) and at the San Francisco Opera (Maddalena in the Andrea Chénier).
