Biography

After the triumph at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Abigaille (Nabucco) with Riccardo Muti, the Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi is treading the most prestigious Italian and international stages. Some of his important recent engagements include Tosca at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Nabucco at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia and at the Arena di Verona, Elisabetta I in Roberto Devereux at the ABAO Bilbao and Elvira in Ernani at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome by Riccardo Muti. In 2016 Anna Pirozzi made her debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Lucrezia Contarini in I due Foscari), at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich (Amelia in Un ballo in maschera), at the Royal Opera House in London (Leonora in Il trovatore) and at the San Francisco Opera (Maddalena in the Andrea Chénier).

Anna Pirozzi will give a singing Masterclass from 6-10 April 2020 at the Accademia Orecchioalato at the Villa Besozzi Casati in Cologno Monzese. The Masterclass is open to all opera singers and will focus on vocal, musical and scenic preparation of the arias or selected roles.
