Anna Pirozzi sings the title role of Verdi’s masterpiece Aida at the Arena di Verona. The opera, which, since its 1913 debut on the Arena stage, has been performed over 670 times, becoming a symbol of the Arena di Verona. Seen and Heard International heralded Ms. Pirozzi’s performance as Aida at the Teatro Real de Madrid earlier this season:

Performances take place on June 22 & 27, July 5, 9 & 12.Ms. Pirozzi shares the stage with Romano Dal Zovo as The King of Egypt, Violeta Urmana as Amneris, Murat Karahan as Radamès, Dmitry Belosselskiy as Ramfis, and Amartuvshin Enkhbat as Amonasro. Gianfranco de Bosio conducts the Arena di Verona Orchestra & Chorus.
