On October 1, Anna Pirozzi starts her 2019/20 season with her greatly anticipated house debut at the Metropolitan Opera as Lady Macbeth. Marco Armiliato conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus in Adrian Noble’s evocative production. A signature role for Ms. Pirozzi, she shares the stage with a sparkling cast including Željko Lučič as the title role, Matthew Polenzani as Macduff, and Ildar Abdrazakov as Banquo.
