Anna Pirozzi sings in the title role of Tosca at the Royal Opera House in London. Opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini, libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica. The first performance was held in Rome, at the Teatro Costanzi, on January 14, 1900. The libretto is derived from La Tosca by Victorien Sardou, first performed on 24 November 1887 at the Théatre de la Porte-Saint-Martin in Paris.
